As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality clinical care while supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive clinical and person-centred nursing care
- Administer medications and monitor residents' health and wellbeing
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and care plans
- Support residents with nutrition, hydration, and overall health needs
- Maintain best practice infection prevention and control standards
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, GPs, allied health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams
- Assist with admissions, assessments, and ongoing clinical reviews
- Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience working in an Australian Residential Aged Care facility (clinical placements are not considered)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Current National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of current COVID-19 vaccinations (including booster where required)
- Current Influenza vaccination
- Valid Australian working rights
- 100 points of identification
