To be considered, you will need to be able to provide evidence of:
- Previous cleaning or laundry experience, preferably within an aged care or healthcare environment
- Experience working in Australia
- Valid Police Check
- 100 Points of ID
- Valid Work Rights
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Current COVID-19 vaccination, where required by the facility
- Flu vaccination, where required by the facility
What will you be doing?
As a Cleaner , you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff
- Cleaning resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms and other facility areas
- Following infection control and cleaning procedures
- Correctly using cleaning equipment and products
- Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained throughout each shift
As a Laundry Assistant , you will be responsible for:
- Sorting, washing, drying and folding linen and clothing
- Distributing clean laundry to residents and relevant areas
- Maintaining a clean and organised laundry area
- Following infection control and hygiene procedures
- Handling residents' clothing and personal items with care
- Ensuring laundry is completed efficiently and to a high standard
