We are seeking reliable and passionate Cooks and Assistant Cooks
to join aged care facilities near Tamworth. You’ll be responsible for preparing nutritious and enjoyable meals while creating a positive dining experience for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to menu and dietary requirements
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Cater to special dietary needs and modified meals
- Work closely with the kitchen and care team
- Assist with stock rotation and general kitchen duties
About You
- Previous experience as a Cook, Assistant Cook, or Kitchen Hand
- Experience in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Food Safety/Handling knowledge or certification
- Good understanding of dietary requirements
- Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team
- Compassionate and respectful when working with elderly residents
- Relevant cooking qualifications are desirable for Cook positions
