Our valued aged care client is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join their team. This role plays a key part in ensuring facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry)
- Maintain outdoor areas including mowing, hedging, and general grounds upkeep
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Trade qualification (preferred)
- Previous experience in maintenance, building, or similar roles
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills
