Collar Care is seeking an experienced Midwifery Unit Manager to lead and support maternity services within a progressive regional health service. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate midwifery leader to drive high-quality, family-centred care while managing a dedicated team.
About the Role:
- Lead antenatal, postnatal, women’s health and domiciliary services
- Oversee daily operations, staffing and clinical governance
- Support and mentor midwifery staff to deliver best practice care
- Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams
- Drive quality improvement and service development initiatives
- Ensure safe, effective and culturally sensitive patient care
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Minimum 5+ years’ consolidated midwifery experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent clinical knowledge across antenatal, postnatal and birth care
- FSEP Level 1 (or higher) desirable
