The role

As a Registered Nurse, you will assess residents’ needs, plan and deliver person-centred care, and respond to changes in their condition. You will work closely with residents, families, care staff and other health professionals to support safe, respectful and coordinated care.

Depending on the opportunity, your responsibilities may include:

• 
  Completing clinical assessments and updating care plans
• 
  Administering and managing medications safely
• 
  Recognising deterioration and escalating concerns promptly
• 
  Supporting residents living with dementia and those receiving palliative care
• 
  Providing clinical guidance and clear handovers to the care team
• 
  Documenting care and contributing to quality improvement

What you will bring

• 
  Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• 
  Strong clinical assessment, communication and documentation skills
• 
  A commitment to residents’ rights, preferences and dignity
• 
  Confidence working with and supporting a multidisciplinary care team
• 
  An understanding of safe clinical practice in residential aged care
