We are seeking a Registered Nurse committed to promoting independence, inclusion, and well-being. This is a 4 Week Contract with an Immediate Start and the potential to become permanent.
Position Overview
As a Community Registered Nurse at you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with disabilities, elderly individuals, and others in need of support to lead fulfilling lives within their own communities.
You will work collaboratively with our clients to enhance their quality of life by providing essential healthcare services, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention and patient independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessments
- Health Education
- Direct Care - Medications, wound care, managing chronic conditions
- Collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Nursing degree and a valid nursing licence
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain.
- Police Check
