Collarcare is seeking experienced and passionate Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care to older Australians across various aged care facilities in Adelaide. We offer morning, afternoon, and night shifts on a seven-day roster, ensuring you have access to shift penalties and flexibility.
Employment Options:
- Casual Employment (minimum commitment of 1 shift per month)
- FIFO Contract Work or Long-Term Shift Blocks
- Option to convert your employment to Permanent
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- COVID-19 Vaccination (including booster)
- At least 3 months of experience working in an Australian Aged Care facility or similar environment
- Current Police Check and NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Reliable vehicle & full driver’s license or close proximity to public transport
- Smartphone for shift access and communication
- Deliver clinical care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans
- Assist in administering medications and treatments in accordance with best practices
- Provide support to Personal Care Workers and assist in their training and development
- Document residents’ conditions and treatments accurately
- Monitor and manage infection control procedures
- Assist with admissions and transitions for residents and their families
- Liaise with residents, families, doctors, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Ensure compliance with aged care standards and regulations on every shift
