About the Roles
As an RN or PCW, you will play an important role in providing safe, high-quality and person-centred care while supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
Registered Nurses – Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive clinical and person-centred nursing care
- Administer medications and monitor residents' health and wellbeing
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and care plans
- Conduct assessments and ongoing clinical reviews
- Work collaboratively with GPs, allied health professionals, residents and families
- Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies
Personal Care Workers – Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents with daily living activities
- Assist with mobility, nutrition, hydration and personal hygiene
- Support residents' dignity, independence and overall wellbeing
- Observe and report changes in residents' health and behaviour
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
- Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
About You
Registered Nurses
To be successful, you will have:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience working in an Australian Residential Aged Care facility (clinical placements are not considered)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Current National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of current COVID-19 vaccination, including booster where required
- Current Influenza vaccination
- Valid Australian working rights
- 100 points of identification
Personal Care Workers
To be successful, you will have:
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support, Ageing Support, or a relevant equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in Australian Residential Aged Care
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Current National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of current COVID-19 vaccination, including booster where required
- Current Influenza vaccination
- Valid Australian working rights
- 100 points of identification
